Product Description
The Fluke i410 current clamp is an accessory that extends the range of digital multimeters for measuring current in electrical testing applications. An attached 1.6m output cable connects the clamp to a compatible multimeter that can accept safety-shrouded banana plugs and display 1 milliVolt (mV). It has a clamp that measures AC and DC current to 400 amp. The clamp has two jaws that can close around an electrical conductor up to 30mm in diameter to measure current without touching or interrupting the circuit. It has a zero error adjustment to set the mulitmeter's display to zero for accurate DC readings. The unit operates on one 9V battery. It meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standards 61010-1 and is rated for CAT III installations to 600V, which covers equipment in fixed installations, such as switches in the fixed installation and some industrial equipment that is permanently connected to the fixed installation. The European Conformity (CE) marking indicates compliance with applicable European Union directives. The unit comes with a battery and instructions.
